Elle Macpherson has reflected about her "phenomenal" time as a recurring guest-star on Friends, after the original cast got back together for a special reunion.
The supermodel said that she feels honoured to have been a part of the much-loved series, describing it as "one of the best experiences" of her career.
Macpherson played Joey’s (Matt LeBlanc) dancer love interest Janine Lacroix for seven episodes in season six, back in 1999.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Who’s seen the Friends reunion on @hbomax? Being asked to join the crew for a fun arc of 7 episodes as Joey’s girlfriend Janine, was one of the best experiences of my career.
"Working as an ensemble with this talented group of actors was phenomenal. My time spent with them truly memorable and I feel honoured that I had the chance to work on such an iconic production with a brilliant team both on-screen and behind the scenes."
Macpherson was one of many celebrities that guest-starred in the series, joining an illustrious list of names that included Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Paul Rudd and Danny DeVito - to name but a few.
Friends aired for 10 seasons between 1994 and 2004 and became a pop culture sensation - loved for everything from its iconic fashion moments (which is still influential today) to its funny, heart-warming storylines, the palpable chemistry between the lead six cast members, and now, the comforting sense of nostalgia.
Friends: The Reunion is now available to watch on Now TV.
