Tessa Thompson's red-carpet game is unmatched.
While attending the Season 4 premiere of Westworld, the actress aced the show's futuristic aesthetic by wearing an iridescent nude gown from Interior. The $10,000 dress, dubbed The Callisto Gown, is composed of crinkled sheer silk metal, per the brand's website. It additionally features an open back secured by black velvet panne ribbons, flared sleeves, and a gentle train.
Tying the outfit together, Thompson wore the Pétale de Perle ring from Reza and nude heels from Gianvito Rossi. Her glam was dark and moody, highlighting a smoky winged eye done by makeup artist Keita Moore. Meanwhile, hairstylist Lacy Redway pulled back the star's hair with a black ribbon that doubled as a choker, making for a sleek and feminine do.
Bold looks are not out of the ordinary for Thompson. While doing press for Westworld's forthcoming season earlier this week, she wore an innovative look for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The outfit included a mustard-yellow tank top layered over a turtleneck and a skirt printed with a pair of jeans.
In a 2021 interview with InStyle, the star talked about her unconventional take on red-carpet dressing.
"Why not? For me, it's a character. If you play a lot of villains, people wonder if there's something sinister about you," she told the magazine. "In the same way, if you have a latex whip for your hair, people assume that your personal life is a lot more festive than it actually is, which I think is the case with me."
