It's official: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's son's name will no longer be Wolf.
In documents obtained by TMZ, the former couple reportedly filed documents that requested the legal change of their second child's name from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster. TMZ reported that Jenner and Scott both agree with the name switch and have both signed the petition, which is currently going through the courts. The request has not yet been signed off on.
The two "regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster," according to the documents obtained by the outlet. "Now that Petitioners have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit."
Jenner and Scott welcomed Aire in February 2022. At the time, they announced that his name would be Wolf via a heartwarming video documentary capturing Jenner's pregnancy that was posted to YouTube. A few weeks later, however, the Kylie Cosmetics founder announced that they had a change of heart in regard to their son's moniker.
"FYI our son's name isn't Wolf anymore," she wrote on her Instagram Story in March 2022. "We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere 🙏🏻."
In January 2023, nearly a year after he was born, Jenner introduced her son's new name to the public for the first time by posting a picture of the two together and simply captioning it, "AIRE 🤍."
