Simone Ashley looked ravishing in red as she attended the 2024 Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco.
On Friday evening, Ashley stepped out for the festival’s opening ceremony in a red-hot look from the London label 16Arlington’s Spring 2024 runway. She turned heads in a red feather-print dress, which featured a square neckline, corset bodice, and a curve-hugging skirt that finished with a flouncy bubble hem. The shiny gown appeared to be made out of latex.
Keeping all eyes on her dress, the Bridgerton star accessorized minimally, solely adding a pair of small dangling silver earrings. She matched the risqué look of the piece with a pair of see-through stilettos that boasted sheer straps at the front and back, creating the illusion that her shoes were simply floating on her heels.
Ashley complemented her sultry ensemble with matching glam. She wore her black hair in a pin-straight style, and for makeup, opted for a shimmering gold eye shadow and brown lipstick. A cream manicure and pedicure finished off her look.
Back in 2022, the star—who plays Lady Kate Sharma on Bridgerton—opened up to Bazaar about joining the cast of Netflix’s period romance. “With most characters, there are factors that you relate to. Kate was one that I definitely empathized with and was rooting for,” she said. “It was so much fun [joining the cast]. I mean, it was mad! It was wild! It was crazy! I was so grateful, first and foremost, just to sink my teeth into the amazing material and the love story. But I think that it’s a gift to an actor to be presented with such a great character journey.”
