Beyoncé and Blue Ivy just proved they’re the most fashionable mother-daughter duo with their latest joint appearance.
To celebrate a new exhibit at the Brooklyn Central Library honoring Jay-Z’s work over his decades-spanning career, the rapper and entrepreneur’s superstar wife and oldest child each attended the event in their own vibrant ensemble.
A video captured from the evening (which you can watch here) shows the “Drunk in Love” singer wearing a lacy long-sleeved blouse awash in a vibrant orange. The slightly see-through top by Laquan Smith featured a crisp collar, a plunging neckline, and an intricate pattern arranged in sparkling sequins. Beyoncé tucked the blouse into a matching bodycon maxi skirt, which was completely covered in even more glittering orange sequins. To accessorize, she wore an array of diamonds in the form of a necklace, a bracelet, a ring, and large stud earrings.
Meanwhile, Blue can be seen in the background wearing an electric cobalt-blue ensemble. The 11-year-old wore an off-the-shoulder blue dress by Reformation, which she paired with a long gold chain necklace and brown Fendi sunglasses.
Blue has made several cameos throughout her mother’s ongoing Renaissance World Tour, taking the stage alongside Beyoncé to dance and perform. Bey acknowledged Blue’s tour contributions in a rare, sweet tribute posted to Instagram in May.
Captioning photos and videos from one of Blue’s performances, in which the duo matched in glittery silver tops and metallic trousers, the mom of three wrote, “My beautiful first born 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
