We’re already obsessed with all things SZA, but the hitmaking singer-songwriter just gave fans another reason to be excited.
At Billboard’s annual Power 100 event Wednesday night at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, the SOS star presented the Clive Davis Visionary Award wearing an extra-special lip color combination: her own.
SZA recently revealed that her first-ever makeup collection is in the works, which at minimum likely consists of a lip liner, pink-toned lipstick, and a high-shine gloss. “Also wearing all my own lip products down to the liner,” she wrote over a Getty Images photo of herself, posted to her Story on Instagram.
At this Sunday’s 2024 Grammy Awards, she is nominated for nine awards, including Album of the Year for SOS—and we’re betting a few more of her unreleased products make an appearance on the red carpet at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena.
SZA isn’t the only celebrity with beauty news to share this year. There’s been lots of buzz around the hair care brand Beyoncé announced last spring, and Kim Kardashian's SKKN by Kim, which entered the makeup space with a fleet of new liner, lipstick, and eye shadow essentials at the end of January.
In any event: Bazaar editors are keeping close tabs on SZA’s emerging beauty line, and will update this story as more information is released.
