Cardi B is a mom again!
The Grammy winner has welcomed a baby girl. She shared the first photos and videos of the newborn in an Instagram post this afternoon.
“The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖,” she wrote in the caption.
In the photos, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is seen holding her child while lying on a hospital bed. The baby wears a pink beanie and is swaddled in a blanket. Her mother, in true Cardi style, wears plenty of bling with her hospital gown. She later layers on a colorful wrap.
Other photos and clips in the post show Cardi B’s ex, Offset, holding the newborn next to their two other children: daughter Kulture, five, and son Wave, two.
View full post on InstagramCardi has neither confirmed nor denied whether her estranged husband is the new baby’s father, but we do know that she filed for divorce from him at the same time she announced her pregnancy last month. Per Page Six, she is seeking primary custody of the three kids she and Offset share.
She wrote in her Instagram announcement at the time: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
