Following an iconic appearance at the Billboard Music Awards 2019, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have apparently tied the knot. The wedding took place in Las Vegas at the A Little White Wedding Chapel and was attended by a plethora of celebs.
Entertainment Tonight was able to confirm the nuptials, having seen "a copy of the couple's marriage license, which they obtained earlier in the day." Turner and Jonas have been engaged since October 2017, and have been excitedly planning their wedding ever since. According to TMZ, the couple had booked the venue a week in advance.
Giving fans a glimpse of Jonas and Turner's wedding, Diplo posted a video on his Instagram Stories along with the caption, "Gonna hit up this wedding real quick." In the clip, Turner can be seen in a wedding jumpsuit, entering a Las Vegas chapel. The bride wore a Bevza silk jumpsuit with Loeffler Randall Gold Penny Knot Mules:
Footage of the ceremony was shared by celebs on social media, and showed that Turner and Jonas's wedding was conducted by an Elvis impersonator, and country music stars Dan + Shay played "Speechless" as Turner walked down the aisle. Diplo served as a DJ at the event, because, obviously.
And according to the Daily Mail, Priyanka Chopra was the maid of honor, but it's unclear if the bride's best friend, fellow Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, was in attendance.
A photo obtained by TMZ shows the newlyweds posing with their officiant, along with Kevin and Nick Jonas, who were also present at the intimate ceremony.
Earlier in the night, Turner accompanied Jonas to the Billboard Music Awards, where she wore a stunning silver embroidered jumpsuit by Louis Vuitton.
The Jonases were previously reported to tie the knot in France later this year, and it appears those plans are still on. A source told People that "the wedding is still in Europe." Last night's nuptials were likely done because a religious wedding ceremony in France doesn't count as a legal marriage for non-residents, so Sophie and Joe decided to have fun the legal aspect of their union.
Congratulations are most definitely in order to the happy couple, who pulled off the ultimate surprise wedding in Vegas.
