Dua Lipa just certified her status as a bona fide pop star at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
During the ceremony, she performed a standout medley of two of her hits, "Don't Start Now" and "Levitating," from her 2020 studio album, Future Nostalgia. For the set, Lipa wore three different ensembles—all in varying shades of glittery baby pink—while she sang her signature hits for a star-studded and socially distanced audience. The star began her performance in a gorgeous avant-garde, embellished ball gown and later switched into an oversized, boxy blazer—again, both rosy and shimmery.
While Lipa still took the Staples Center stage, there was no crowd aside from fellow artists who were also scheduled to perform during the show. During Lipa's performance, her former collaborator, Bad Bunny, was clearly enjoying the set, as he was caught by the cameras singing along throughout her time onstage. (Even Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio can't resist Lipa's pop bops.)
For Lipa's final outfit, she threw off her sequin blazer to reveal a glittering cropped bra top and matching high-rise hot shorts as she joined her crew of dancers for a bit of high-energy choreography to conclude her set.
Lipa, who arrived to the ceremony channeling Cher, is nominated for six awards tonight, including in top categories like Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia, and Record of the Year and Song of the year for "Don't Start Now." She already has two Grammys under her belt: Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording ("Electricity"), which she won in 2019.
